Lovely Quilty Things: Juki 2010

November 7, 2017

I blogged in the summer about the Juki 2010.  I thought I would give an update.  I love my machine.  I got it for its large throttle.  I also can turn it so that it can act as a sit-down long arm.  It's soooo much fun.  I added the plexiglass table to make it big.

When I was at Quilt Festival, I tried the sitdown fancy machine, and asked them what the difference was from the Juki 2010 -- it was a great machine, don't get me wrong.  Beautiful.  But the person said, "It does less."  Only FMQ.

I use the walking foot a lot for quilting too. I turn it back to its proper way, and then its ready to go.

I contemplated the Grace frame while I was at the Houston Quilt Market/Festival.  It turns the 2010 into a true long-arm machine.  But I really like sitting.  I just wasn't ready. But it remains a possibility.

Here are some links to Amazon to find out more about this machine.

I piece with it too.  It's so much fun.  Don't get me wrong, I love my other machine (Juki Exceed 300).  But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Juki 2010.

Here are some links so that you can find more info.
