Both these quilts have descendants who are caring for their heirlooms with love and joy. They have shared their remembrances with me and allowed me to share the stories on social media. I can't think of a more appreciative audience than the QA!
This is my post about a quilt that I repaired, story and photos provided by the great-granddaughter of the quilter:
And that prompted this woman, granddaughter of the quilter, to write to me because her quilt is in the same pattern. It's not a common one, called Pointed Tile. I urged her to write the story, and she did.
I totally recommend reading both posts. They'll warm your heart, and make you glad that you're a quilt-lover.
