What is the QA Blog? The Quilting Army Blog, of course! This is the Just Wanna Quilt project. We're so many things. I'm a law prof. We're a podcast. We are a community. We publish books. We're starting a shop. The Quilting Army are members of the Just Wanna Quilt community. I've been working on Units on our Facebook group to help explain who we are. We are 2600+ on our FB group, a small but mighty group.

Here is our first booth at Quilt Festival. How amazing is this? And what is so brilliant is that those quilts hanging are made by the Quilting Army. These are people who volunteer to be part of this project and I love them so. So, this is the Quilting Army's blog. It is our story.

"I'm Melanie McNeil and have a blog called "Catbird Quilt Studio." You can find it at catbirdquilts.wordpress.com . I haven't posted much this year while going through breast cancer treatment. My blog focuses on quilting and creativity, not personal matters, so it wasn't (IMO) an appropriate topic to spend much time on. I am an expert on medallion quilts and have MANY MANY tutorials and posts on them. I love the way they can be in any style. I love SO much about medallion quilts!! My favorite way to design them is from the inside out, design-as-you-go. It's like having a new gift to open all the time."
